Here's an easy method to stack a cake without special tools

After you've assembled your cakes and frosted them, chill them in the fridge for at least

two hours. Place a cake on top, draw around it with a toothpick and then push a straw down

Pinch it at the top of the cake and cut it there so it's the same height as the cake

Cut four more straws to the same height and then push them in within that circle you drew

at least two inches apart from each other. Now place the next tier back on top and it's supported

Repeat with the rest of your tiers and you'll have a cake stable enough to transport and display
